This device can be used to demonstrate the working operation of a DC Generator/Motor. Simply turn the hand crank and see the small globe light up. In addition to you can connect the DC generator to a Galvanometer to see the current you are generating.
The beauty of this product is when you then connect the DC generator as a motor by connecting it to the 6V terminals of a DC Power Supply, watch the light glow and the hand crank whizz around!
