This 50 watt immersion heater is designed to be used with the calorimetry blocks. You can calculate the specific heat capacity of the various metals by measuring the amount of heat gained by a specific amount of energy (running the immersion heater for a specific amount of time).
Lead Length: 820mm, Heater : 100mm x 13mm, 12 volt, 50 watt
To be used with Calorimeter blocks.

Module 3: Light and Thermodynamics
Thermodynamics
- Analyse the relationship between the change in temperature of an object and its specific heat capacity through the equation 𝑄 = 𝑚𝑐ΔT
- Apply the following relationships to solve problems and make quantitative predictions in a variety of situations: – 𝑄 = 𝑚𝑐Δ𝑇, where c is the specific heat capacity of a substance
